A ground glass nodule in the right lung requires clarification of the size and nature of the nodule. It is common in chronic infectious diseases, if long-term smoking, exposure to dust, can appear in the right lung grinding glass nodules. If the nodule is smaller than 5 mm, it is called a microscopic nodule, which is mostly benign and does not require drug treatment. If the right pulmonary ground glass nodule is between 6-8mm, we need to be alert to whether it is a growing nodule and whether it is cancerous, we can give enhanced CT of the chest and if necessary, we can perform percutaneous pulmonary puncture to find out whether the ground glass nodule is early cancerous. If the ground glass nodule is larger than 8mm with lobar, depression sign, pulling sign, short burr and other cancer descriptions, a thoracic surgeon needs to be asked to intervene for treatment as early as possible to avoid missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
