The patient may have preexcitation without tachycardia or with tachycardia. For the latter, radiofrequency ablation is recommended. If there is no other heart disease and risk factors, the patient can be observed or the procedure can be done. Some patients can afford it financially and are willing to treat it, so they can do the surgery. If they are not willing to do the surgery, they can do it when they are sick, but they should be alert to the fact that there are still very few patients who are at risk of pre-excitation.
