Is hypoechoicity in the liver important?

Intrahepatic hypoechoicity is a manifestation during ultrasound and other imaging examinations of the liver, which may be benign diseases such as hepatic cysts, hepatic hemangiomas, fatty liver, etc., which are mostly unimportant, or primary liver cancer, which is more serious and requires timely medical treatment. 1. Liver cysts: they are benign lesions of liver, those with small size have no uncomfortable symptoms, regular follow-up can be done, and no treatment is needed; for those with large size and pressure symptoms, cysts can be given open drainage or cystectomy, etc., the prognosis is better, and it doesn’t matter. 2. Hepatic hemangioma: it is also a benign disease of liver, and the smaller size of hepatic hemangioma does not need to be treated. If the size of liver hemangioma is large and the growth rate is fast, surgical treatment, such as hepatic hemangioma resection, can be considered, and it does not matter. 3. Fatty liver: mild fatty liver does not need treatment, usually pay attention to light diet, avoid eating greasy, high-fat food, and exercise more. If necessary, relevant medication can be given, for example, fenofibrate and other lipid-lowering drugs can be given to patients with high blood fat, which is not important. 4. Liver cancer: it belongs to malignant tumor and is more serious. Early stage liver cancer lesions are relatively limited, and after active surgery and medication and other auxiliary treatments, the effect is better, while middle and late stage liver cancer patients have poorer prognosis and serious consequences. It is suggested that patients should seek medical treatment in time and complete all auxiliary examinations in order to clarify their conditions, and then be treated by professional doctors according to their conditions.
