Chronic sinusitis belongs to the category of “nasal abyss (mainly manifested as filthy nasal mucus, the amount of which cannot be wiped clean)” in traditional Chinese medicine, and Yubingfeng Granules are not used for the treatment of chronic sinusitis.
Yuping Feng Granules is composed of Astragalus, Atractylodes Macrocephalae, and Fenghuang, which can benefit the qi, solidify the surface, and stop sweating. It is used for those who have deficiency of the surface, (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with a little movement) with bad wind, white color (white and without luster), or weak and susceptible to wind. Adverse reactions and contraindications to this drug are not known.
Chronic sinusitis patients need to be under the guidance of a doctor to identify the use of medication, such as lung wind-heat syndrome with Yin Qiao San plus reduction; bile viscera and internal heat syndrome with gentian diarrhea liver soup plus reduction, and so on.
It is recommended that patients seek medical attention in a timely manner, under the guidance of the doctor to use medication, do not take medication on their own, so as not to delay the condition.
