Vomiting in early pregnancy can be treated with general therapy and antiemetics; however, if severe nausea and vomiting with dehydration and electrolyte disorders occur, the patient should be admitted to the hospital in time for treatment, including fasting, general therapy, and correction of water and electrolyte disorders. 1. General treatment: avoid contact with vomit-inducing gases and foods; encourage eating smaller and more frequent meals. 2. Antiemetic agent: Vitamin B6 is commonly used for antiemetic, the use of specific drugs should be under the guidance of the doctor. 3. Correct the water electrolyte disorders: daily intravenous rehydration volume of about 3,000 ml, supplement vitamin B6, vitamin C, potassium supplementation 3~4g/d, in order to prevent hyperkalemia, serum potassium level should be tested. Most of the patients with vomiting in pregnancy have good prognosis after active treatment, and it will subside naturally with the progress of pregnancy. If the discomfort cannot be relieved or is accompanied by other discomforts, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for examination and treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
