What’s wrong with getting up and getting dizzy?

Dizziness once you get up may be caused by postural hypotension, benign positional vertigo, cerebral arteriosclerosis and other reasons.
1. Postural hypotension: whether in the squatting or lying position, if you get up too quickly and violently, it may induce postural hypotension, which may cause dizziness and vertigo, and may be accompanied by a transient blackness in front of the eyes and other manifestations.
2. Benign positional vertigo: when getting up, because of the big position change of the head, it is likely to cause otoliths to fall off to the semicircular canals, inducing benign positional vertigo, which may show dizziness and vertigo, and may be accompanied by ocular nystagmus, visual rotation and other manifestations.
3. Cerebral arteriosclerosis: Due to cerebral arteriosclerosis, the local blood vessel lumen becomes narrow and the wall of the blood vessel thickens, resulting in slow blood flow, causing insufficient blood supply and oxygen supply to the brain. Especially when you get up, the insufficient blood supply to the brain will be aggravated, which may show dizziness and lightheadedness.
It is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible for targeted treatment.
