The cure rate of stage III stomach cancer will not be lower than 30%, but it needs to be determined by combining physical condition and pathological type. Stage III gastric cancer actually belongs to the middle and late stage of gastric cancer, most of the patients have missed the best time for surgery, basically they can only be treated by conservative programs such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy or targeted therapy, and the overall clinical cure rate will not be more than 30%, but some of the patients can survive for a long time. If lymph node and distal organ metastasis have already occurred in stage III gastric cancer, the preferred treatment plan is palliative pre-surgical resection with postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy; if the patients cannot be operated, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatments will be considered. It is suggested that patients with stage III gastric cancer should actively cooperate with treatment to improve the quality of life and prolong the survival time.
