Focus on the rational treatment of liver cancer

The reasons are that liver cancer is often accompanied by hepatitis and cirrhosis, and the liver function varies; the early and late detection of liver cancer and the growth site require a high choice of treatment; the treatment methods of liver cancer have become more numerous in recent years; the improvement of liver cancer efficacy depends more on the integrated treatment of multiple methods. In the former case, the treatment received by the patient is not enough to effectively control the tumor, which will lead to future problems, while in the latter case, it is more common that too much treatment does not necessarily solve the tumor problem, but leads to further damage of liver function, which is not worth the loss. For patients, the key to receive reasonable treatment is to avoid the two views of “cure and forget” and “the more treatment the better”. In the face of complicated patients and many treatment methods and technologies, it is not easy to give the most reasonable treatment to each individual patient. It can only be achieved by combining the current national and international treatment norms or expert consensus with personal experience and technical conditions. Of course, a high degree of responsibility of doctors is also the key. In the future, the treatment of liver cancer will develop from “standardization” to “individualization”, and “one key for one lock” will be more reasonable and effective. Nowadays, all kinds of treatment researches are focused on this, and some of them have already shown the first signs, but it will take time to reach the goal. Of course, not only liver cancer, but almost all modern medical research is pursued in this way.
