Pancreatic cancer is a malignant tumor of the digestive tract with insidious onset, rapid progression and very poor treatment and prognosis. The common clinical symptoms of pancreatic cancer are pain in the upper abdomen, fullness and distension, jaundice, reduced appetite and wasting. 1. Upper abdominal pain and discomfort: it is often the first symptom. Patients often have various degrees of epigastric distention and fullness, or vague pain or dull pain. A small number of patients can also have no pain. The pain is usually more in the upper abdomen or above the umbilicus. In the middle and late stages, there will be persistent severe abdominal pain, radiating to the lower back, leading to inability to lie down, often in a curled sitting position, seriously affecting sleep and diet. 2. Jaundice: It is characterized by progressive aggravation. The earlier the jaundice appears is closely related to the location of the cancer. The closer the cancer is to the common bile duct, the earlier the jaundice appears; the more complete the biliary obstruction, the deeper the jaundice. Dark yellow urine and clay-colored stool, accompanied by itchy skin, may have a tendency to bleed after a long time. 3. Gastrointestinal symptoms: symptoms such as lack of appetite, bloating, indigestion, diarrhea or constipation may occur. Some patients may have nausea and vomiting. When the cancer invades the duodenum in advanced stage, upper gastrointestinal obstruction or upper gastrointestinal bleeding may occur. 4. Wasting and weakness: Patients may lose weight, weakness and weight loss due to reduced diet, poor digestion and lack of sleep. Cachexia may appear in the late stage. 5.Other: A few patients may have mild diabetic manifestations. Some patients show depression, anxiety, mania and other mental disorders. Lumps can be found in the late stage.
