Generally, the normal cells of human body are more tolerant to high temperature than the cancer cells, therefore, tumor thermotherapy has less damage to the normal cells of human body and causes less clinical side effects. Currently, tumor hyperthermia is mainly used as an auxiliary treatment for other major anti-tumor treatments such as surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
