There are different treatment modalities for different tumor stages, for example:
Early stage
Surgical treatment is the mainstay
Mid-stage
Local treatment, including TACE, radiotherapy, etc.
Advanced stage
Treatment with systemic therapy, including chemotherapy (FOLFOX4 regimen with oxaliplatin), molecular targeting drugs, and Chinese herbal medicine
Chemotherapy must meet the indications for chemotherapy and not be contraindicated. If patients have concerns about chemotherapy they can try molecularly targeted drug therapy, such as sorafenib and lenvatinib.
End-stage
Symptomatic supportive care, palliative care, and care are the mainstays
