Lung hard nodule foci is a kind of benign nodule in the lung, whether it is serious or not, also need to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis according to the manifestation of lung hard nodules.
Lung hard nodule foci are generally after the lung infection, the fibrous tissue inside appears to proliferate, forming a lesion dominated by fibrous tissue, which is a kind of benign nodule in the lungs, generally not serious, and need to be rechecked regularly.
If there is pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung contusion, long-term smoking, etc. in the lungs, it is possible to find hard nodules in the lungs after chest CT or chest X-ray. This kind of hard nodule is mostly a sign of recovery, which is normal and usually does not need special treatment, and can be checked regularly.
If the hard nodule gradually increases in size, further examination, including histologic examination by lung puncture, is needed to clarify whether the hard nodule has developed early cancer. If the hard nodule foci are >3cm in diameter and accompanied by lobulation, short burr, pleural depression sign, etc., they are more serious and need to be highly alert to the possibility of lung cancer.
If hard nodules are found in the lungs during examination, it is recommended to complete relevant examinations in time, and the doctor will judge whether the condition is serious and clarify the nature of the nodules according to the examination results.
