How to determine the early stage, middle stage and late stage of nasopharyngeal cancer

Nasopharyngeal cancer staging is mainly based on T-stage, N-stage and M-stage staging for comprehensive assessment.
T staging: it can be divided into Tx, T0, T1-T4 stages. T staging mainly relies on the local size of the tumor, depth and scope of infiltration.
N staging: it can be divided into Nx, N0, N1-N3, N staging mainly relies on the presence or absence of neck lymph node metastasis, size, number and whether it is unilateral or bilateral lymph node metastasis to distinguish.
M stage: MX: distant metastasis cannot be evaluated; M0: no distant metastasis; M1: distant metastasis;
Clinical staging: generally divided into stage I (early stage) T1N0M0; stage II (intermediate stage) T2N0M0; stage III (middle-late stage) T3N0M0, T1-3N1M0; stage IV (advanced stage): Ⅳa:T4N0-2M0,T1-3N2M0; Ⅳb:N3 or T4,MO,any T; Ⅳc:M1.
If you suffer from nasopharyngeal cancer, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time to clarify the staging according to relevant examination and carry out standardized treatment.
