What tests should be done to see rhinitis

The following tests are required for rhinitis: first, anterior rhinoscopy, which is used to examine the patient’s nasal vestibule, the nasal common nasal tract, and the surface of the nasal mucosa. Secondly, rigid nasal endoscopy, which is used to examine the deep nasal cavity, including the nasopharynx, inferior nasal tract, middle nasal tract, olfactory fissure and other parts of disease. Thirdly, CT or MRI examination, if patients are suspected to have something growing in the nasal cavity, such as nasal polyp-like changes, nasal inversion papilloma and other tumors, CT or MRI examination is needed to determine the size of the tumor, the origin of the tumor and the site of tumor invasion and other related diseases. Fourthly, some patients who are suspected of having allergic rhinitis need to have their blood tested for allergens or skin prick test.
