The formation of hemorrhoids has nothing to do with the lack of vitamins. There are two main theories of the etiology of hemorrhoids. One is the varicose vein theory, which states that hemorrhoids are caused by pathological varicose veins under the skin of the anus and blood vessels under the mucous membrane of the rectum. The other is the submigration theory, which states that hemorrhoids are formed due to the submigration of the anal vascular cushions. The triggers for the formation of hemorrhoids include genetic factors, irregular diet, frequent consumption of spicy and irritating things, frequent alcohol consumption, habitual constipation, prolonged sitting, prolonged standing, prolonged squatting, staying up late, straining, etc. Therefore, hemorrhoid patients should usually pay attention to a light diet, eat more vegetables, fruits and other coarse fiber food, drink more water, to keep the stool soft and fluent, maintain and develop good bowel habits, and pay attention to the cleanliness of the anal area after the stool.
