What about pediatric eczema?

  Eczema is one of the most prevalent allergic skin conditions in early childhood. It often appears as a small red papule or rash or as a large outbreak with pus and water. Most babies who are allergic to cow’s milk are also allergic to goat’s milk. For babies 0-1 years old who are allergic to cow’s milk, then the baby needs to be weaned from all foods related to cow’s milk. To be on the safe side, mothers are advised to choose deeply hydrolyzed formula or amino acid formula powder.  Parents are often concerned about the effects of hormonal medications on their child’s growth, but this only occurs with high doses of oral hormonal medications, and the side effects caused by hormonal creams are limited to the skin. For mild eczema, parents are not encouraged to use hormonal medications on their children, and general medications to kill the itch are sufficient. However, for moderate to severe eczema, topical hormonal creams are the first choice of medication, and if not treated in time, it is easy to keep the condition from being effectively controlled.
