Psoriasis can be treated and some people can experience no further flare-ups, but the current level of medical care does not guarantee non-recurrence. Psoriasis is a chronic, relapsing, skin-based systemic disease caused by a combination of internal and external factors. The most important causes are: 1) genetic factors; 2) environmental factors; and 3) immune factors. Also, there is a close relationship with psychological factors. Because of the many causes and the pathogenesis is not completely clear, the treatment effect cannot guarantee no recurrence. The current treatment is based on a combination of drug application, medication, medicated bath and light. Generally the rash area <10% of the body surface area (the area of a palm is about 1% of the body surface area), the main focus is on simple drug application. For patients who have the conditions, as much light as possible, control the rash and then gradually reduce the frequency of light, can effectively reduce the recurrence rate. For patients with favorable economic conditions, biological agents can be considered, and the relapse rate can also be significantly reduced. Psoriasis has little impact on systemic health, and even if it is not treated, do not treat it indiscriminately so as not to cause hypertension and diabetes due to improper drug use, such as inadvertent use of systemic hormones. Life is careful to be emotionally comfortable, avoid wind and cold, do not drink alcohol and do not eat spicy and stimulating food, etc.
