Established Ménière’s disease Diagnostic criteria for limited Ménière’s disease + histopathological confirmation. II. Restrictive Ménière’s disease 2 or more typical episodes of spontaneous vertigo lasting 20 min or longer; hearing loss on at least 1 audiometry; tinnitus or dullness; exclusion of other etiologies. III. Suspected Ménière’s disease 1 typical episode with hearing loss on at least 1 audiometry; tinnitus or ear boredom; exclude other etiologies IV. Potential Ménière’s disease Ménière’s disease type vertigo attacks without hearing loss or sensorineural hearing loss fluctuating or fixed; balance disturbance but no typical attacks; exclude other etiologies.
