Are maxillary sinus cysts serious?

Maxillary sinus cyst is not a terminal disease, it is a benign clinical sinus lesion that does not cause malignant changes, so there is no need to worry too much. If the cyst is small and does not cause obvious discomfort, no special treatment can be given and regular follow-up is recommended. When symptoms such as headache, nasal congestion, nasal discharge, visual impairment and ipsilateral upper row toothache appear, formal treatment should be carried out in hospital immediately.
