Common foot cramps Causes

The most common cause of foot cramps is calcium deficiency, also known as calcium deficiency cramps, where the concentration of calcium ions decreases during muscle contraction, leading to persistent muscle contraction, which in turn causes muscle spasms. Foot cramps can also be caused by fatigue, where blood circulation slows down and a buildup of metabolic substances, especially lactic acid, can cause the muscles to go into spasm.
