Does cerebral infarction necessarily lead to hemorrhagic transformation?

Not necessarily. The incidence of hemorrhagic transformation after acute cerebral infarction is not exact in our country, but foreign reports vary from 0% to 85%, with a large variation, depending on the site and size of the cerebral infarct focus, the treatment received, and the patient’s own coagulation and liver function underlying the condition.
