Does epilepsy affect intelligence in children with dyscalculia?

No. Even if the child has a history of several months at the time of the visit and has several episodes per day, intelligence is not affected. However, it can affect concentration because the child’s level of recurrent awareness decreases when studying, resulting in an inability to listen and complete assignments carefully throughout and a significant drop in grades.
