Does low fever and night sweats necessarily mean tuberculosis?

Patients with tuberculosis usually have symptoms such as cough, sputum, low fever, night sweats, fatigue, chest pain, loss of appetite and weight loss.
The presence of low fever and night sweats alone does not confirm a diagnosis of tuberculosis. The diagnosis needs to be confirmed by a combination of clinical manifestations and a positive tuberculin test.
