Does neurofibromatosis affect fertility?

Neurofibromatosis does not affect fertility.
However, because neurofibromatosis is an autosomal dominant disorder, if there is a family history, the chance of inheritance is higher and the incidence of neurofibromatosis may be half of the children born, with a 50% chance of neurofibromatosis in the offspring. If a pregnant mother has neurofibromatosis, she may experience an increase in the size of the tumor, a sudden increase in café au lait or freckles, and a more pronounced skin appearance.
