Women’s postpartum hair loss will last for 6 to 12 months, and will return to normal after 12 months. Hair loss is usually most noticeable about 3 months after delivery, and some women may start losing hair only about 7 months after delivery, but hair loss usually lasts no longer than 12 months. If hair loss lasts longer than 12 months and is not regulated in time, there may be a continuous reduction in hair volume.
