Acne pits are actually acne scarring. Acne scarring is divided into atrophic scarring, hyperplastic scarring and keloid scarring, among which atrophic scarring is divided into ice pick type, rolling type and box type, and corresponding therapies should be selected according to different scar types.
For example, ice pick type keloid scars can be treated with annuloplasty, chemical peel, skin grinding, etc., rolling type keloid scars can be treated with subcutaneous excision, skin grinding, tissue filling therapy, chemical peel, etc., and box type keloid scars can be treated with annuloplasty, annuloplasty elevation, skin grinding, tissue filling therapy, chemical peel, etc.
Intradermal glucocorticoid injection can be considered for proliferative keloid and keloid scars, and surgical excision can be performed for proliferative keloid scars if necessary, and a combination of therapies can be chosen for the best results.
