Is 37.3 degrees in the armpit considered hypothermia?

Low fever is generally defined as an oral temperature between 37.3°C and 38.0°C. 37.3°C is already considered low fever. If the fever is only short term and there are no uncomfortable symptoms it can be closely observed.
Due to the low fever level, antipyretics are not usually recommended. If the patient has other severe, persistent or progressive signs and symptoms, such as with night sweats, loss of appetite, wasting, cough, abdominal pain, headache, joint pain, etc., prompt medical attention should be sought.
