Is numbness in the arms a sign of cervical spondylosis?

Cervical spondylosis is the most common cause of arm numbness, but the cause of arm numbness is not necessarily cervical spondylosis. There are many causes of numbness in the arm, for example thoracic outlet syndrome can compress the brachial plexus nerve and cause numbness in the arm and is the most important condition to identify from cervical spondylosis.
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy, peripheral neuritis, peripheral neuritis, spinal cord cavitation and menopausal syndrome can also cause numbness in the arms.
