Scalp folliculitis should be referred to the Department of Dermatology for consultation and treatment. Patients with mild symptoms can be treated with topical antibiotics, such as mupirocin ointment, erythromycin ointment, and fusidic acid ointment. For patients with severe symptoms, oral antibiotic treatment is required, usually choosing cephalosporins, macrolides or tetracyclines antibiotics. Also pay attention to maintaining local cleanliness and hygiene, and avoid physical stimulation such as scratching, rubbing and squeezing.
