Scleral yellowing is not painful, do I still need to treat it?

Treatment is required.
When scleral yellowing occurs, it means that the serum total bilirubin concentration exceeds 34.2 μmol/L for dominant jaundice, which is already much beyond the normal range, indicating that the primary disease has become quite serious, and according to the analysis of its possible causes, if not treated in time, the digestive system disease may further develop into hepatic encephalopathy leading to the patient’s confusion, etc.
If the disease is hematologic, infectious complications such as increased anemia will follow.
