Vaginal cramps during sexual intercourse

Vaginismus is an involuntary contraction of the vaginal opening during sexual intercourse that prevents the man’s penis from entering the vagina. It can be caused by a woman’s subconscious desire to prevent the man’s penis from entering the vagina due to excessive pain during previous intercourse, or it can be caused by strong stimulation of the vaginal opening.
Of course, vaginal spasms can occur in women who are reluctant to have sex, fear pregnancy, fear of being controlled by a man, fear of losing themselves or fear of being hurt during sex.
