Encephalitis in children is more difficult to determine at home on its own, and a clear diagnosis is usually required after performing blood tests, cerebrospinal fluid tests, electroencephalography, cranial CT, MRI and other tests. Therefore, when children develop high fever, headache, convulsions, coma, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, drowsiness and crying, they should seek medical attention immediately.
