Generally speaking, fever in pregnant women is mostly considered to be caused by infectious factors, such as common colds can cause fever. If a high fever persists, or if symptoms such as cough, pus and phlegm, chest pain, etc. occur, secondary bacterial infections or serious viral infections due to the influenza virus should be considered, and of course, there are other systemic inflammatory diseases caused by fever in pregnant women.
