Hysterical seizures can have motor, sensory and blurred consciousness symptoms similar to epileptic seizures, often occurring after mental stimulation and in the presence of someone. Seizures can take a variety of forms, with strong self-expression such as eye closure, crying, hand and foot twitching and hyperventilation, and can last up to several hours, requiring comfort and suggestion therapy.
