The photothermal stimulation produced by the laser promotes the division and proliferation of skin fibroblasts and stimulates the skin to initiate the self-repair process, which in turn repairs the scar. The secretion of sebaceous glands is also related to scar formation, and the photothermal reaction of the laser causes the destruction of sebaceous glands.
