During the period of tooth replacement in children, the eruption of permanent teeth can cause the resorption of the roots of the milk teeth, and then the phenomenon of loose milk teeth, which is normal and does not require treatment; children are active by nature, and loose teeth caused by dental trauma are also more common; secondly, periodontal tissue inflammation and periapical inflammation due to poor oral hygiene and caries are also one of the causes of loose teeth in children.
These latter cases require prompt medical attention.
