Why does the navel often smell bad?

Belly button odor can be caused by a variety of reasons such as disease factors, environmental factors, and drug factors.
The sunken navel is prone to accumulate water and dirt, and it is not easy to dry. In an environment with greater temperature and humidity, it provides good conditions for bacterial growth and is more likely to produce odor and breed infection.
