There are many traditional Chinese medicines that can eliminate carbuncles and disperse knots, and the common ones are shan ci mushrooms and zhebeimu. 1. Shi Ci Mushroom: it is the dried pseudobulb of Azalea orchid and Solanum orchid; it has the efficacy of clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxicity in the body), and it also has the efficacy of eliminating canker sores and dispersing knots. Therefore, it can be used to treat carbuncles (a kind of poisonous sores, acute purulent diseases occurring on the body surface, limbs, and internal organs), furuncles (a kind of skin disease, referring to severe furuncles), and scrofula (mainly refers to the tuberculosis of the lymph nodes in the neck), phlegm nuclei (the lumps swollen up under the skin, such as nuclei), and other illnesses. Caution should be taken when using the product for those who are weak and frail. 2. Zhebeimu: the bulb of Zhebeimu; it has the effect of clearing away heat and resolving phlegm, in addition to the efficacy of dispersing knots and eliminating carbuncles; therefore, it can be used for the treatment of scrofula and gall tumors (equivalent to thyroid tumors) as well as carbuncles and other diseases; when using it, it is noted that it should not be paired with aconite. Cold phlegm, damp phlegm, and coldness of the spleen and stomach (weak and cold spleen and stomach) should be taken with caution. The adverse effects of the above drugs are not known. Chinese medicines should be used under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner, and individuals should not use them blindly to avoid adverse effects.
