Abdominal pain due to enlarged lymph nodes is usually caused by viral or bacterial infections that induce enlarged lymph nodes in the abdomen. This abdominal pain is mainly around the belly button, but may also cause widespread pain throughout the abdomen. In addition to pain, it may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Some patients may also have symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection, such as fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, cough, sputum, or dry or sore throat. If the vomiting or diarrhea is severe, it may lead to dehydration and electrolyte disorders. For example, there is a very poor mental state, weakness of the limbs and other symptoms.
