Elderly people who develop high blood lipids and inadequate blood supply to the brain may develop atherosclerosis, such as narrowing of the large arteries, which can induce transient cerebral ischaemic attacks to some extent.
Patients with this type of disease usually have symptoms such as slurred speech, slanted mouth and eyes, drooling, blurred vision, etc. Some patients may experience numbness of the limbs, paralysis, cognitive dysfunction, etc.
There may be symptoms such as poor concentration and decreased energy in daily life.
