What are vulvar warts?

Flat warts on the vulva are a skin condition caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection that can be improved by physical therapy and medication. Flat warts are a viral skin disease caused by HPV infection, often appearing as slightly elevated flat papules that can be mildly itchy. The actual warts can be removed by scraping, freezing, laser and other physical treatments; they can also be treated with local interferon gel, retinoic acid ointment or imiquimod cream.
