Posterior urgency is a common clinical symptom of abnormal bowel movements. The main symptoms are the urge to defecate, but the volume of bowel movements is very small, accompanied by a feeling of incomplete defecation and no relief in the abdomen after defecation. It may be caused by anorectal and pelvic disorders.
