Numbness of the tongue is mostly seen in sympathetic cervical spondylosis. It is mostly associated with prolonged head-down and desk-bound work, with symptoms of sympathetic inhibition or excitation.
Patients may feel neck pain, headache, dizziness; numbness of the face, tongue or trunk, and dullness of pain sensation; feel palpitations and arrhythmia; accompanied by symptoms of tinnitus, hearing loss, or memory loss, insomnia, etc.
