Patients who have a smelly and itchy situation inside their ears: In the first case, it may be accompanied by otitis. If the inflammation of the ear canal is particularly serious, there will be inflammatory exudate inside the ear canal, like white tofu-like material, which will appear very smelly. It is recommended that the patient actively rinse the ear with saline repeatedly and then use levofloxacin hydrochloride ear drops for anti-inflammatory purposes. In the second case, it may be an acute purulent otitis media, due to the patient’s own otitis media leading to the perforation of the eardrum, the sudden appearance of purulent otitis media after a cold or the patient’s own rhinitis. Patients will have yellow discharge out of their ears that is particularly smelly and is caused by anaerobic bacterial infection. In terms of treatment, patients are advised to repeatedly flush and apply compound tinidazole gel inside the ear canal, which can effectively reduce the stinky and itchy situation inside the patient’s ear.
