How long does it take for scars to disappear after mole removal

Scar refers to keloid scar in medicine, and the scar after mole spotting usually fades to red after 3~6 months and enters the maturity stage, the color is gradually close to that of the surrounding skin and fades away gradually. However, if some patients have localized hyperplastic keloid scar or belong to the keloid constitution, the scar may not be able to disappear on its own.
Due to the difference in personal constitution, it is impossible to generalize the time of disappearance of scar after mole spotting. It is normal to leave localized scar after mole spotting, which usually disappears with time, and in most patients, the scar will disappear gradually in about 3~6 months after the operation, and does not need any special treatment.
However, if some patients have localized hyperplastic keloid scars or have keloid physique, the localized keloid scars may leave obvious scars and remain for a longer period of time, which may not disappear. Timely review is needed for scar inhibition treatment.
After mole spotting, you need to keep the local skin clean and dry to avoid causing infection. Daily also need to avoid the sun, so as not to cause pigmentation, thus prolonging the scar disappearing time.
