According to the World Health Organization estimates, there are nearly 600 million people with mild hearing loss and 250 million people with moderate or higher hearing loss worldwide. China has 20.57 million people with hearing impairment, the first of all kinds of disabilities, accounting for 16.79 per thousand of the country’s population, of which up to 800,000 deaf children under the age of seven, will also produce more than 30,000 new deaf children each year. Hearing impairment seriously affects the social interaction and personal quality of life of these people.
