White pityriasis, also known as pityriasis simplex or dry pityriasis of the face, is a chronic skin disease of unknown origin. It mainly occurs in children, also seen in teenagers. White pity rash has a characteristic, mainly with the symptom of the skin darkening is more common. Initially, mainly round or oval light red spots are seen, and the surrounding boundary is also blurred. The diameter can reach 2 centimeters or larger. After a few weeks, this pale red patch gradually turns into a pale white patch with bran-like scales that can be seen on top. The number of this furfuraceous rash is indeterminate at the time of occurrence, mainly on the face, with other areas occasionally seen, and the patient is often asymptomatic, usually sometimes with an itching or burning sensation. When this disease occurs there is no special treatment therapy, mainly with emollient ointment or relatively weak glucocorticoid for application, oral mainly supplemented with compound vitamin B.
