What is the best age for treatment?

The principle of early diagnosis and treatment of congenital hyperkyphosis should be followed and early intervention should be carried out.
As hyperkyphosis is mostly reversible at this time, aggressive treatment can be expected to reduce, delay or even cure the disease.
It should be noted that although many patients with high arched feet have stable symptoms and progress slowly, they are treated conservatively early on.
However, during the teenage years, if the high arch deformity progressively worsens, conservative treatment may delay treatment of the disease, at which point aggressive surgical intervention, using simple soft tissue surgery to correct the deformity, may avoid later osteotomy or joint fusion surgery.
