Topical medications for warts

There are many topical medications for warts, such as tincture of onychomycetin, imiquimod cream, and spot-on cream. Warts are a sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus infection and can be treated with the following medications. 1. Tincture of onychomycosis: belonging to the skin antiviral drugs, it is suitable for men and women’s external genitalia as well as the perianal area of the acromegaly. Adverse reactions: most patients will experience varying degrees of tingling, erythema, edema, and erosion, and individual patients will experience severe local reactions, such as edema, ulceration, and severe pain. Contraindications: allergic to the product, as well as pregnant and lactating women, and unhealed wounds after surgery is prohibited. 2. Imiquimod Cream: It is an immunomodulator and can treat external genital and anal warts in adults. Adverse reactions: most of them have no adverse reactions, a few patients may have erythema, redness, swelling, vesicles, burning, pain, itching and so on. Contraindications: not yet clear. 3. Zebra cream: belongs to the antiviral drugs, used for the treatment of condyloma acuminatum. Adverse reactions: localized slight burning pain or burning sensation. Contraindications: not yet clear.
