Swelling and pain in the throat are commonly caused by inflammation of the throat, trauma, malignant lesions and many other reasons, and it is recommended to go to the hospital in time. 1. Injury to the mucous membrane of the throat: common causes include corrosive injury, burn or scalding caused by high temperature of food, mucous membrane injury caused by hard food, etc. Swelling and pain in the throat with swallowing pain can occur, but usually not accompanied by fever, cough and other manifestations, if the injury does not heal for a long time, ulcers may be formed or combined with infection. 3. Malignant lesions of pharynx: there may be no obvious clinical symptoms in the early stage; further development of the disease may present foreign body sensation in the pharynx, hoarseness, pharyngeal pain, dyspnea and other manifestations.
